This is a great dip for tailgating and football parties.
I got this recipe from my friend Kara - and I lightened it up a bit. Double this batch to serve more.
-1 8 oz. block Neufchatel (light) cream cheese
-1 lb hot turkey sausage (regular sausage works if you can't find turkey)
-1 can Ro-tel (or can of tomatoes with chilies)
-1 package of Tortilla Chips or Triscuits
- Brown the sausage, add in the cream cheese until well melted, add the Ro-tel and heat until warm. You can also combine all the ingredients (cook the sausage first) in a Crock Pot so it will stay warm longer.
Serve with tortilla chips or triscuits. Also is great on biscuits for breakfast.
